November 2007 - VMSC/MSC Annual Banquet/Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony
It was definitely a night to remember. Our first ever induction ceremony for the Southeastern Wisconsin Short track Hall of Fame was held at the Schauer Center ajoining the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford WI. Over 400 people attended the event, including special guest Bobby Allison who was on hand to help present Miles Melius with his award. Plans are already in the works for a bigger and better event in 2008. Congratulations to all of the inductees!

Bill Behm organized a quick show at Dyno's Bar in Knowles Wi. 7 cars were on hand. Free food and drinks all day long! The UEMSI sponsored show at Slinger was our biggest in a long time. 24 cars lined up on the main straight and took a few laps around the paved oval. Many former drivers turned out for this one too! A fantastic time!

Our first show of the season was at at the Milwaukee Mile . 16 cars were on hand to take part in the yearly event.
9 cars made it to the Lynch Motorsports show in Burlington on the day before Mother's day. Great weather provided an excellent backdrop for the show. M.J. Both won the best of show with his A3 modified.
Race into Summer at Swan City Park in Beaver Dam was another great time. Lots of fans stopped by to see the 9 cars on display and John Frank's model display. Again Great Weather!!

Our most exciting news is that we will finally have a Southeastern Wisconsin Short Track Hall of Fame. It will be located inside the Wisconsin Automotive Museum in Hartford, WI. A couple of cars will be on display starting in May. Then in September, we will have a car show in front of the museum and open our display at that time. Watch for further updates.
